Who we are
STACEE GOETZINGER is the author of the books You Are Worth Saving: Letters of Hope from a Desperate Heart and The Boat That Wouldn’t Sink: A Memoir, and is a frequent speaker for conferences, retreats, churches, and groups. Stacee chooses to share from the middle of her own journey with mental illness, believing that God’s faithfulness is evident in the midst of our struggles, not just in hindsight. She and her husband, Doug, co-host the Speak Out Loud podcast, which shares hope and encouragement for those who struggle with mental health and for those who love and support them.
BRITTANY TINSLEY is the author of Stories Our Scars Tell, a writer, and a speaker whose work explores the intersection of faith and mental health. Through honest, heartfelt storytelling, she invites others to find the hope baked into their own lives. In addition to her own book, Brittany is a contributing author of the Oxford Handbook of Non-Suicidal Self-Injury and has written for HuffPost, (in)courage, and To Write Love on Her Arms.
